From having worked in Asia to building brands in Africa, she has created extensive networks for both manufacturing and sourcing. As the founder of a creative agency called Green Start Ideas, she helps small brands build products from idea to production within the creative space and helps them leverage opportunities within the Circular Economy.

She currently operates at the nexus of footwear/fashion education and sustainable thinking and has launched an online footwear design course and continues to collaborate with leading educational institutions on the continent in creating footwear design programs that focus on circular economy principles.

As a sustainability-led creative consultant, her first point of reference is always getting the design right so that the products she helps create, do not become a burden to the environment further downstream. She also facilitates various workshops around design-thinking, and footwear making and runs a few pro-bono workshops per year teaching disadvantaged women how to make baby shoes by repurposing fabric and textile waste.
